Lot of hospitalist programs are good and very few are great programs. Change from good to great is very hard and you need great team to bring the change. We have strategies to change good programs to great programs. 

We mainly offer inpatient hospitalist services for all partner hospitals including those who participate in BPCI. We deeply care about post acute care disposition of patients. STAR MD excels in providing efficient and quality inpatient care with high patient satisfaction. We bring back nurse-physician rounding to the bedside. Our physicians round with the patient’s nurse at the bedside and discuss care planning with the patient and family. 

Each of our program is staffed with dyad support including practice coordinator and program manager depending on the size of the program. Regular update of progress to our participating hospitals with monthly brief joint operation committee (JOC)  meetings and quarterly in depth  JOC with STAR MD administration. We collect data on a regular basis which will be shared during these meetings. Our physicians also receive monthly data about their quality of work including Key Metrics, HCAHPS and constantly look for ways to excel. Our physicians will be participating in key hospital committees to bring the required change.
